OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
A Culinary Production Specialist plays a vital role in the creation of consumable goods. This position adheres to organizational policies and food safety standards, reporting directly to the Culinary Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adheres to the established production timeline.
- Accurately measures and weighs all ingredients.
- Ensures a hygienic workspace by promptly cleaning and organizing equipment.
- Timely removal of production items from molds.
- Accurately packages and labels all finished products.
- Operates necessary machinery to fulfill job requirements effectively.
- Restocks essential supplies throughout the facility.
- Maintains personal protective equipment and ensures its availability.
- Upholds a quality environment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Identifies and rejects products that do not meet quality criteria.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Exhibits a positive demeanor, teamwork spirit, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and understand relevant state and local regulations pertaining to the industry, personnel laws, safety standards, and organizational protocols.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks.
- Must remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for employment in the cannabis sector.
- Must obtain and maintain a Registered Agent Card as mandated by the state.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Must be detail-oriented and focused.
- Ability to internalize training and adhere to instructions.
- Effective and clear communication skills are essential.
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment.
- The role may require lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
