Electric Vehicle Service Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the source of any malfunction and execute repairs.
- Carry out tasks as specified in the service order with precision and efficiency, adhering to Electrified Garage and electric vehicle manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to procure necessary components.
- Inspect the vehicle to assess if any additional safety or maintenance tasks are required.
- Inform the Service Advisor promptly if further work is necessary, if the outlined tasks are unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be finalized within the promised timeframe.
- Record all completed work and any suggested services on the service order. Once the job is finished, return the service order to the Service Advisor.
- Maintain an advanced understanding of high voltage, low voltage, and general electric vehicle systems.
- Utilize appropriate software to accurately document all customer vehicle repairs.
- Conduct Quality Control assessments for repaired vehicles to confirm the completion of repairs.
- Perform thorough diagnostics and execute repairs as needed, including HVAC systems.
- Conduct electrical tests and inspections, measuring continuity, current, voltage, and resistance of electrical and electronic systems.
- Experience with harness construction, connector pin configurations, crimping, cable installation, and soldering for both small and large projects.
- Execute 4-wheel vehicle alignments and perform tire mounting and balancing, including tire repairs.
- Test drive customer vehicles to ensure proper functionality.
- Ensure that each customer's vehicle remains clean, undamaged, and maintains the integrity of comfort and convenience systems.
- Immediately notify the Lead Technician and/or Manager on Duty of any changes to the vehicle's appearance or condition.
- Participate in Electrified Garage sponsored events and media engagements.
- Keep the workshop area organized and clean, ensuring accountability for all Electrified Garage tools at all times.
- Comply with all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards.
