MITRE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Research and Innovation to lead our research efforts in the Infrastructure and Networking domain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and research initiatives that align with our company's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead research and innovation initiatives in the Infrastructure and Networking domain, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
- Develop and implement research strategies that align with MITRE's mission and goals, ensuring a strong focus on innovation and impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue research opportunities, leveraging expertise and resources to drive success.
- Coach and mentor staff to develop their research skills and capabilities, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Engage with external partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing, driving the advancement of research and innovation in the field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in research and development, with a strong background in Infrastructure and Networking.
- Proven track record of leading research initiatives and driving innovation, with a focus on impact and results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities for growth and development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Experience working in a research and development environment, with a focus on innovation and impact.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and techniques, with the ability to apply them in a practical and effective way.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
