About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at PoolCorp. As a key member of our sales center, you will play a vital role in empowering our customers to build, manage, and grow successful landscape businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Greet walk-in and phone customers, listen to understand their needs, and provide recommendations to improve their bottom line.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to sell Horizon's value and provide customers with the best service and experience possible.
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services that meet our customers' needs.
  • Resolve Customer Complaints: Professionally and timely resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Sales Center: Ensure the sales center is clean, well-organized, and well-stocked.
  • Perform Other Duties: Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Strong Customer Service Attitude: Demonstrate a customer-centric approach and provide exceptional service to our customers.
  • Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Good Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and effectively through spoken and written words.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales center goals and objectives.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently lift and move items that weigh up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish): Speak and write in both English and Spanish.
  • Irrigation Experience: Have experience in irrigation or other landscape products.
