About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategy and Customer Development Team Lead to join our team at Russell Stover Chocolates. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sales Strategy and Customer Development department, developing and implementing sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and customer needs, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences to inform sales strategies.
  • Manage and analyze data to inform sales decisions, using tools such as IRI and Numerator to track market trends and customer behavior.
  • Communicate sales strategies and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and/or category management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience leading teams and developing sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
