HID Global is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the Healthcare vertical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Physical Access Control products through strategic partnerships within the Healthcare industry.

The ideal candidate will possess strong qualifications, a hunter mentality, and effective communication skills to engage with the target audience and contribute to the growth and success of the business in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the healthcare industry.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and healthcare organizations, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable Physical Access Control solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, creating compelling value propositions for healthcare clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of Physical Access Control products, including mobile credentials, and stay updated on industry advancements to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of products and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, exploring new geographical areas or additional segments within the healthcare sector.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make adjustments as needed.
  • Customer Education: Provide education and training to healthcare clients on the features, installation, and maintenance of Physical Access Control products.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Clear understanding and expertise in the end-user corporate culture, environment, and decision process within the Healthcare vertical.
  • Complete understanding of how HID products fit within the Healthcare vertical market.
  • Effective communication skills with end-user corporate management and executive personnel.
  • Proficient technical knowledge of Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) and the authentication market to support the role of an End-User Sales Team.
  • Understanding of HID Global's sales development ecosystem, including business segments, channel rationalization, sales process, and HID's roadmap in PACS.
  • A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the security industry with emphasis on physical access control.
  • 2+ years of experience as a business development channel/end-user in a healthcare vertical.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development roles, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve common business objectives.
  • Familiarity with the industry or sector in which HID Global operates, knowledge of market trends, competitors, and relevant business factors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and trends, make informed decisions, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Experience in sales in the North America market is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
