**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Enforce all institutional policies, rules, and regulations to maintain order and discipline within the facility.
  • Conduct regular security checks and patrols to prevent disturbances and escapes.
  • Escort offenders in transit and during temporary leaves, ensuring their safe transportation and supervision.
  • Guard facility entrances to screen visitors and maintain the security of the facility.
  • Train and handle canines for tracking, search and rescue, guard duty, and detection of contraband.
  • Inspect, inventory, and maintain physical control of keys, tools, weapons, and related equipment.
  • Prepare and submit reports on offender behavior, incidents, and other relevant information.
  • Respond to emergencies and take offenders into custody as needed.
