Position Overview:

We are seeking two experienced Field Survey Managers to enhance our expanding Survey Division. These roles are essential due to an increase in project demand, allowing our current team to maintain a balanced workload.

Location: Candidates should be located within a reasonable commuting distance to ensure they can return home each evening.

Opportunity: This is an excellent chance for professionals with a solid background in surveying to remain in Central Indiana while engaging in a steady stream of projects. Overtime hours will be compensated at a premium rate, and employees will be provided with a company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, and laptop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various types of surveys including Construction Layouts, As-Built Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, and ALTA Surveys.
  • Utilize advanced Trimble technology, including GPS systems, VRS networks, robotic total stations, digital levels, TSC7 data collectors, and TBC processing software.
  • Work on diverse projects across Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional sectors, collaborating with significant clients.
  • Operate independently or as part of a two-person team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Field Survey Manager.
  • Proficient in Construction Layout, Boundary, Topographic, or ALTA Surveys.
  • Must be willing to undergo a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check.

Compensation:

  • Field Survey Managers with 2-5 years of experience can expect a pay range of $35 to $39 per hour.
  • Those with over 5 years of experience may earn between $40 and $47 per hour.

Work Schedule:

  • Typical start time is around 7:30 AM, with potential for earlier starts during summer months.
  • Work hours are flexible, with an average of 45-50 hours per week, and opportunities for additional overtime as desired.
  • Participation in a Saturday rotation is required, with each manager working one Saturday per month.
