The Role
We are in search of exceptional maintenance technicians to deliver high-quality residential HVAC repair services, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. As a Residential HVAC Service Specialist, you will work alongside a dynamic team to demonstrate your technical skills and meet sales objectives. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems while guiding customers in making informed purchasing decisions. This position will primarily be office-based, with opportunities for travel within your designated market.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC service calls on equipment that is less than 10 years old.
- Build rapport with customers to recommend appropriate products and services.
- Ask relevant lifestyle questions to accurately diagnose system issues.
- Educate customers on optimal financing options and maintenance plans.
- Meet sales targets and strive to exceed revenue expectations.
- Exhibit professionalism and expertise to secure referrals and repeat business.
- Collaborate with customer service and dispatch teams for overall business success.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and ensure your vehicle is well-stocked.
- Engage in training sessions, meetings, trade shows, and retreats.
- Assist with installations as required.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoices, time cards, feedback, and option sheets.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of local HVAC codes and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Demonstrated experience with heating and cooling systems.
- Commitment to ongoing education and training, aiming for NATE certification.
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
