Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient appointments, including follow-ups and rescheduling.
  • Welcome patients and accurately gather, verify, and update all necessary registration and insurance details.
  • Handle incoming calls and deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
  • Prepare medical records for new patients and ensure existing records are updated.
  • Review patient files for completeness and return them to the appropriate location.
  • Communicate with patients via phone or mail regarding appointments, insurance matters, and payment inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role within healthcare or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with NaviNet and Next Gen is a plus
  • Comfortable with phone communication and possesses a professional demeanor
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
