Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at WS Management Inc. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a critical role in creating a positive and memorable experience for them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently, in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Reconcile daily activities and close all necessary accounts.
  • Manage and resolve all guest complaints and compliments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Learn the property systems and be able to navigate the system quickly and efficiently, including running reports and distributing accordingly.
  • Follow and process proper cash/check/credit card/AR control procedures, always using proper guidelines and security.
  • Follow requests by the Sales Department for up-selling, marketing packages, etc.
  • Answer the telephone and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional in presentation and demeanor.
Requirements
  • Literate and tech-savvy - you will need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math, and computers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to the hotel and business needs dictate.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time (maximum 5 hours at a time, 8 hours in total/day).
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (maximum of 5 hours at a time, 8 hours total a day).
  • Ability to speak and hear on a phone within a shared workspace.
  • Must be able to handle stress, from Guests, Employees, and Vendors.
  • Able to clearly communicate to employees, guests, vendors, Corporate Executives through written, verbal, and personal methods.
