Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for performing performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification procedures on general biomedical equipment. You will also be responsible for repairing, installing, and calibrating general biomed equipment, as well as maintaining biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification procedures on general biomedical equipment
* Repair, install, and calibrate general biomed equipment
* Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education
* Assist with service operations special projects as assigned
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database (Servicenow) to include inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, and service history
* Adhere to the medical equipment management plan (MEMP) including all regulatory agency compliances and other applicable policies and procedures
* Responsible for ensuring all service and documentation is complete, timely, and accurate
* Provide a positive representation of the HTM services by integrating the core values into job performance
* Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status
* Verify the completion of the security analysis for a new customer equipment
* Perform incoming inspections (ii) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices, including trial and evaluation, rental, and loaner equipment in addition to permanently assigned equipment inventory
* Maintain accuracy and integrity of equipment database to include inventory, PA schedules, and service history

Requirements:

* Applicable understanding of network and computer hardware
* Ability to understand operational procedures, test procedures, and project management
* Ability to perform detailed work, multitask, and document all work performed in order to establish policy and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

* Maintain working relationship and networking with end users of medical devices and vendors
* Contract language stating manufacturers responsibility on security
* Work with manufacturers to provide updates and security patches to vulnerable devices
* Monitor manufacturers and FDA recalls and alerts
