Qualifications:
  • Valid WA nursing license
  • At least 1 year of recent Acute Care experience
  • BLS certification

Floating may be required based on unit needs. Charting will be conducted using Cerner. The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Additional Information:

MedSurg RN
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 NIGHT
Patient Ratios: 1:4 Days, 5:1 Nights
Unit Size: 20 beds
Floating may be required based on unit needs
Preferred: Charge nurse experience is preferred
Patient Demographics: Common medical and surgical diagnoses including Hernia, cellulitis, VTE, UTI, Pneumonia, Flu, Stroke, wound care, and more.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required within 6 months of employment); BSN preferred. A minimum of one year of recent Acute Care experience and a WA license are required.

Scrub Color: Any color - no specific color provided unless stated during orientation; Closed-toe shoes required; no jeans/leggings or long fingernails allowed; OR scrubs provided.
