Position Overview:

The Access Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the admission process within our outpatient clinics. This position is designed for an experienced office professional who is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome visitors with professionalism and ensure adherence to visitor policies.
  2. Handle incoming calls courteously, transferring them as necessary, and maintain regular checks on voicemail for timely follow-up.
  3. Conduct intakes by explaining the new consumer process, assisting with necessary paperwork, and collecting insurance details.
  4. Facilitate the check-in process for clients, ensuring all required information is gathered and fees are collected.
  5. Manage appointment scheduling for clinicians, including rescheduling as needed.
  6. Document management: send, scan, and log necessary documents into client charts.

Additional Duties: Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a medical or behavioral health office is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
