Job Opportunity:

Avon Community School Corporation is seeking a qualified Basketball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching basketball and a passion for working with students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and guidance to students in basketball skills and strategies

• Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan to ensure student success

• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administrators

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Coaching experience, preferably in middle school basketball

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work with students of varying skill levels and abilities

Physical Demands:

• The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear.

• The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
