Retail Operations Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with General Managers and Operational Managers to ensure seamless daily store operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee store opening, closing, and shift change procedures to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Manage cash register tasks, including spot checks, end-of-shift cash reconciliations, void processing, and deposits to maintain accuracy and security.
  • Ensure staff arrive on time, dressed in full, clean uniforms, including nametags, to project a professional image.
  • Report staff tardiness and absences to management to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Ensure customers are greeted promptly and served by well-trained associates to provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Effectively manage customer lines to minimize wait times and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Train new hires and provide daily training and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assign daily duties to sales associates and keep them informed about daily sales targets to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure proper stock replenishment and rotation to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are met, including dusting, folding, sweeping, and mopping, to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Stay vigilant to prevent theft and enforce policies to control internal shrinkage and protect company assets.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Ability to manage and help plan daily activities with Leadership
    • At least one year of experience as a retail supervisor
    • Experience providing supervision and support to store staff
    • Works with on-site sales representatives
    • Approachable and interactive leadership qualities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong time-management and multitasking skills
    • Good at solving problems
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
