Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team at gpac. As a Geotechnical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the sales, estimating, and project management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of existing conditions, including existing structures and geotechnical site conditions, to determine the best design approach for projects.
  • Preparation and oversight of design submittals for various foundation, shoring, and ground improvement systems.
  • Troubleshooting changes in field conditions during the construction phase of projects.
  • Oversight of closeout document preparation.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
  • Tracking deadlines and managing project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (structural or geotechnical).
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CAD).

Core Competencies:

  • Organization - Must be extremely organized and capable of working multiple projects and estimates at once.
  • Problem Solving - Work with field personnel and management to come to a quick resolution of problems.
