We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Coordinator/Patient Care Navigator Lead to join our dynamic team at Healogics, LLC.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with chronic wounds.

About Healogics

As the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, Healogics treats over 300,000 patients annually across more than 600 sites. Our goal is to provide quality outcomes and expert care to as many patients as possible through out-patient clinic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings to support key functions within the center.
  • Greet patients and other visitors, answer and route calls to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain all patient communication needs, including scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders.
  • Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for services.
  • Collect and enter patient charges in databases.
  • Verify and reconcile charges as directed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED); Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of Two (2) or more years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting; prior medical coding experience preferred.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good customer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to type 60 words per minute (wpm).
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.

This position requires working in a patient care environment and being able to lift/move items up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this position ranges between $20.82-$27.13 per hour, based on potential employee qualifications, education, experience, and geography.
