Job Overview:
The Robotic Process Automation Architect will report to the Robotics Process Automation Manager. This position is responsible for defining and enforcing automation architectural standards, designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable automation solutions utilizing UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software. The Automation Architect will create specifications to design, configure, and implement automated workflow solutions, optimize business processes, and ensure the seamless integration of automation components with existing systems. This role is essential in establishing the architecture of automation solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with the overall IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Standards: Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices for bot development and deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Design and Deployment: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable automation solutions using UiPath.
- Specifications Development: Create detailed specifications to design, configure, and implement automated workflow solutions.
- Automation Components: Deliver reusable automation components compatible with existing systems and applications using UiPath.
- Monitoring and Testing: Regularly monitor and test RPA solutions, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Process Analysis: Gather and analyze existing process flows, use cases, and technical requirements to identify new opportunities for automation.
- Performance Metrics: Collect data and metrics to monitor and maintain bot performance, measure utilization, and enhance functionality.
- Documentation: Document and maintain scripts, algorithms, and logic to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable performance and functionality.
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of RPA development and process optimization experience
- 4-7 years of Solutions Architecture experience
- Advanced UiPath knowledge or demonstrated aptitude for rapid acquisition (including Orchestrator, Document Understanding, Communication Mining, Queues/Transactions, Dispatcher/Performers, and APIs)
- Experience with Design Documentation
- Proficiency in Process and Workflow analysis
- Flexible mindset preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate IT technical skills, including code analysis, impact analysis, and risk assessment
