Our dedicated counseling team delivers empathetic, high-quality counseling and therapy to individuals pursuing recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.

Your Role as an Addiction Recovery Counselor:
The Addiction Recovery Counselor plays a crucial role in the treatment and recovery journey of our patients facing opioid use disorder.

Counselors deliver compassionate, high-quality care through various formats, including both individual and group therapy sessions.


Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and effective guidance in individual and group therapy sessions.

Plan, manage, facilitate, and document patient recovery processes.

Co-facilitate assigned group or family therapy sessions as necessary.

Ensure timely and clear documentation of patient care, treatment, and incidents.

Develop individualized treatment plans for each assigned patient.

Conduct initial assessments and follow-up evaluations.

Assess patient needs and determine if referrals to additional programs or facilities are warranted.

May coordinate aftercare plans for assigned patients.

Provide crisis intervention support to patients as required.

Perform case management duties for patients, ensuring personalized quality care.

Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients as needed.

Qualifications:
Required Education, Skills, and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a social or health services field; or

Degree must be from an accredited institution.

Prior experience and knowledge in addiction recovery and/or MAT (medication-assisted treatment) settings.

Licenses/Certifications:
Not mandatory, position applicable to the following: LPC, LSW, LMFT, LAC, LCAC, CADAC II

MATS & ACIT II – can be obtained within 90 days of employment.
