Job Title: Senior Data Analyst, Finance

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Finance team at Spring Health. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting infrastructure, ensuring accurate and consistent company-level metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate relevant data into dbt and surface it in our reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the finance team to build, maintain, and improve reporting infrastructure that supports our core business KPIs.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent reporting of core, company-wide metrics, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data alignment across the business.
  • Work with our analytics engineering team to maintain the core data models in dbt that support key business metrics and ensure data consistency.
  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations that empower finance and business teams to understand overall trends and drill into drivers of various metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and other data analysts to define and finalize critical business metrics and ensure proper data infrastructure to serve them.
  • Ensure downstream teams can access and utilize data effectively by providing comprehensive documentation and support.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working with data, data visualization, and dashboarding tools.
  • Expertise in SQL and familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
  • Strong user empathy and ability to understand core issues stakeholders are having and translate them into solutions that meaningfully improve their ability to operate.
  • Experience working with Looker or other similar data visualization tools, both creating the data model and building dashboards.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
