About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing age-specific direct patient care functions, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner. The successful applicant will work within the scope of competency and float to other areas as needed, ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care functions to meet the goals of Patient Care Services.
  • Perform a variety of tasks to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Assist with patient care, including medical and customer service duties.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a Nursing Attendant in an acute hospital, skilled nursing, extended care, or convalescent care setting.
  • State Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Attendant course or current enrollment in an approved RN or LVN program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Full command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Work Environment

The position is based in a fast-paced, high-volume, trauma level III hospital with 262 licensed beds, 13 operating rooms, 36 emergency room bays, 24 pediatric beds, and 20 neonatal intensive care bassinet rooms. The work schedule includes 3-day, 12-hour shifts (8:00 am - 8:00 pm or 8:00 pm - 8:00 am). CNAs will receive their schedules well in advance to plan accordingly.
