We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at a high-volume, trauma level III hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing age-specific direct patient care functions, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care functions to meet the goals of Patient Care Services.
  • Perform a variety of tasks to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work within the scope of competency and float to other areas as needed.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintain medical records.
  • Assist with patient care, including medical and customer service duties.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a Nursing Attendant in an acute hospital, skilled nursing, extended care, or convalescent care setting.
  • State Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Attendant course or current enrollment in an approved RN or LVN program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Full command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced, high-volume, trauma level III hospital. The work schedule includes 3-day, 12-hour shifts (8:00 am - 8:00 pm or 8:00 pm - 8:00 am). CNAs will receive their schedules well in advance to plan accordingly.
