We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Educator to join our team at Platt College Los Angeles, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students in our Nursing Assistant program.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $35.00 - 45.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

As a Medical Educator, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of adult learners. You will also be expected to maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic success and career development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement effective lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in a dynamic and interactive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of adult education principles and practices. A minimum of three years of practical experience in a long-term care setting is required, as well as a current RN or LVN license in California. A certificate or diploma in a related field is preferred, and completion of a Principles of Teaching the Adult Learner course is highly valued.

This is an adjunct, hourly, non-exempt position with scheduled hours determined by the needs of the college.
