Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to join our team at MyCareersFuture. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams to deliver quarterly releases that span across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage overall quarterly budget across different business segments.
    • Communicate budget timeline to corresponding parties and stakeholders.
    • Receive submissions from business change managers, update and submit budget and annual spend templates to GTO finance.
    • Attend budget meetings.
    • Track each quarterly release to ensure it is within budget and aligns with capacity in each technical stream.
  • Process Adherence:
    • Demonstrate transparency in the process and pipeline planning of quarterly releases.
    • Coordinate release activities across cross-functional teams, business, business change management, and retail operations to successfully drive release strategy and roadmap.
    • Continuously improve change request processes within the portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with business change managers to manage business stakeholders and relationships.
    • Ensure teams work in a collaborative environment.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
    • Manage quarterly release risk, work through escalations, governance, and related issues.
  • QR Governance:
    • Timely and accurate completion of adherence to methodology process and artefacts.
    • Effectively partner with technology and the business to manage risk and audit.
    • Ensure alignment between business and technology for all change request pipeline by managing both parties.
    • Timely escalation of arising issues beyond control for early mitigation.
    • Support functional business analysts to support each release plan and change review.
    • Ensure change request inventory is up to date (daily basis).
  • QR Reporting:
    • Monitor, track, and report on the status of change requests deliverables to ensure time, cost, and quality metrics are in line with approved plans.
    • Report on status and financials throughout the lifecycle to all stakeholders. Update quarterly release decks for RCAB, GRM, and PB-T&O.
    • Manage, monitor, and maintain quarterly billing and reporting.
    • Attend cadence meetings, such as RCAB and pre-GRM, to ensure management awareness of current quarterly release status and highlight items that require management attention.
  • Interns:
    • Work with HR to bring in interns via the intake process.
    • Provide training and guidance to interns during their internship to ensure their contribution to quarterly release process.
    • Regular feedback to interns and schools for their coaching and training.
    Qualifications and Skills Required
    • Seven or more years of IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem-solving.
    • Five or more years of business unit or business-facing experience, managing relationships and building high-performing teams.
    • Demonstrated experience and ability in successfully utilizing soft skills or people skills.
    • Business domain knowledge in retail banking consumer products, such as core banking, digital banking, deposits, mortgage, and cards.
    • Ability to lead and motivate others, demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types and appropriate management techniques.
    • Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
    • Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial, and communication skills, as this is a highly visible position with substantial impact.
    • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar domain.
    • Related professional or technical qualification.
