Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of IT application projects in the banking sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on cards, unsecured loans, and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project management office (PMO) to ensure effective operation and adherence to project management best practices.
  • Establish project governance and cadence to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
  • Coordinate with technology PMO to plan and publish detailed project delivery milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and escalate timeline risks to Country Project Leads and Program Steering Committee (PSC).
  • Manage project budget and ensure spend within budget, with a focus on financial management and reporting.
  • Orchestrate cross-squad project deliverables to ensure efficient delivery of key initiatives.
  • Engage with stakeholders across business and technology to ensure alignment on key deliverables and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates and follow up on action items.
  • Drive and manage project end-to-end delivery, including requirement, design, testing, and deployment.
  • Review test strategy and coordinate defects review, bug fixes, re-testing, and closure within project timeline.

Requirements:

  • More than 10 years of experience in direct management of IT application projects.
  • Sound banking product knowledge, especially in cards, unsecured loans, and payments.
  • Able to work with external vendors and across diversified teams.
  • Process-driven and strong advocate of reporting.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
