Job Title: Managing Director Analytics Reinsurance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Director Analytics Reinsurance to join our team in Morristown, NJ. As a key member of our Reinsurance Group, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative and effective solutions to our clients.

Your Impact:

As a Managing Director Analytics Reinsurance, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts in developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions to support our Reinsurance Group. You will work closely with our broker teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop strategies to optimize outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple client-specific deliverables related to reinsurance renewals and other special projects.
  • Organize and prepare effective communications for submissions and proposals.
  • Deliver client presentations and represent Aon as a speaker at industry and client events.
  • Manage junior staff workload and oversee junior staff career development.
  • Provide advocacy in technical negotiations with third parties and provide other expertise to support colleagues.
  • Work with brokers to develop innovations to existing risk transfer products or new products.
  • Support efforts to prospect new business, including conducting analysis of prospect companies, researching known issues, generating peer or industry studies, and developing targeted content.
Requirements:
  • 15 years of experience in an analytics-centric environment.
  • ACAS or FCAS designation.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems, think creatively, strategically, and analytically.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong ability to understand and perform mathematical and statistical calculations.
  • Dynamic Financial Analysis or Economic Capital Modeling experience.
  • Financial modeling, consulting, reinsurance, or credit default analytics experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel/VBA and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in R (or similar programming language) and SQL preferred.
