About the Role

Riverside Research is seeking a highly skilled Junior Modeling and Simulation Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our analytical team, you will be responsible for conducting analysis using agent-based modeling and simulation (M&S) tool suites to support military operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis with one or more community M&S tools to support military operations
  • Develop operational scenarios using community M&S tools to simulate complex military operations
  • Analyze actual operational activities of military forces across diverse domains, including cyber, space, air, ground, and sea
  • Plan and schedule analytical process development phases to ensure timely delivery of results
  • Exercise initiative to determine objectives and corresponding technical approaches to support military operations
  • Solve complex problems through ingenuity and creativity, leveraging MATLAB experience and knowledge of military operations
  • Develop collaborative relationships with Government customers and other mission partners to ensure effective communication and delivery of results
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
  • MATLAB experience and knowledge of military operations in the cyber, space, air, ground, and sea domains
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mission-level modeling and simulation experience
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following models: Suppressor, DIADS, AFSIM, NGTS
