About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to join our team at Granite Telecommunications. As a key member of our security operations center, you will be responsible for identifying and responding to potential security threats in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
* Triage anomalies and incidents from our SIEM system, escalating through the appropriate channels as needed
* Develop and implement automated playbooks for routine security tasks
* Refine SIEM rules to minimize false positives and improve overall system reliability
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address cloud security risks

Requirements:
* Experience with anomaly analysis and incident response
* Familiarity with multiple SIEM systems, with a preference for Google SecOps
* Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud security controls, including industry best practices
* Experience with cloud security monitoring platforms, such as Google Cloud's Security Command Center or a comparable solution
