Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? Do you have a caring and compassionate nature? We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team at Mercedes Diaz Homes Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation
  • Encourage and support individuals to reach their goals and participate in recreational activities
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure high-quality care

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Current driver's license and California automobile insurance coverage
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
