Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional to join our team at Mercedes Diaz Homes Inc. Our company provides services to intellectually and developmentally challenged adults in their homes and community, and we are looking for someone who shares our values of compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and a current driver's license. They will also be able to read, write, and speak English, with bilingual skills in English/Spanish being a plus.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with their personal and social needs, including hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation. You will also participate in training and team meetings to build your knowledge and skills, and take ownership of your own behaviors and help coach others in demonstrating our company's C.A.R.E. values.

Requirements:
