Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Mercedes Diaz Homes Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily routines and recreational activities
  • Encourage independence and self-advocacy
  • Communicate effectively with team members and individuals

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Current driver's license and California automobile insurance
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
