Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position in the Bureau of Policy and Management, supporting the Finance team with administration and financial support. The ideal candidate will have a proficient knowledge of modern office practices and equipment to perform diverse finance workflow functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the intake process at DMR Finance, including coding, scanning, data entry, and reviewing bureau expense reports.
  • Contribute to the in-office workflow in processing hardcopy documents and supporting the DMR storehouse.
  • Provide daily support in DMR's centralized intake inbox.
  • Back up key functions in the DMR Finance team and provide feedback on processes.
  • Support centralized content management on SharePoint, internal drives, and the DMR intranet.
  • Opportunities for learning finance functions and building skills.
  • Building and strengthening connections with bureau staff.
Requirements

Training, education, or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates competency in applying a proficient knowledge of modern office practices to perform advanced administrative support tasks requiring specialized skills. The ability to use independent judgment, initiative, and discretion to make determinations on varied matters is also essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred.
