Accounts Payable Specialist

The Dead River Company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for performing various accounts payable functions, including data entry, posting records, and statement reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor group email and distribute invoices for payment
  • Assist with vendor issues and questions on A/P processes
  • Review scanned payment requests for data entry
  • Work with assigned Market locations and Corporate Department on A/P cycle
  • Review team member records for accuracy and posting
  • Assist with check run process
  • Maintain organized network files of processed invoices
  • Review vendor statements and obtain invoice copies as needed
  • Assist with external auditor's requests
  • Establish and maintain A/P vendor list and vendor codes
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years general office experience, including experience with accounts payable
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Adobe Reader skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independent of close supervision
