Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Senior Engineer - P&C to join our team at Westwood Professional Services, Inc. This role will involve designing electric substation projects for high-voltage utility systems and renewable energy interconnection projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply IEEE, NESC, NEC, and other applicable codes and standards in the engineering design
  • Independently produce one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, specifications, and I/O mapping
  • Work with other internal and external project stakeholders to ensure project milestones and expectations are met
  • Perform all aspects of design for high voltage (4kV - 230kV) and EHV (above 230kV) substation projects
  • Coordinate efforts with other external and internal project team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized accredited program
  • Active PE license
  • Minimum of 6 years related work experience in the field of high voltage substation design - P&C
  • Proficient in use of AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation
