Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Program Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Program Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for program financial planning and analysis, enhancing value and visibility to the PMO. Your efforts will drive more proactive decision making and improve profitability of our business.

Responsibilities
  • Perform as a subject matter expert on various program finance processes and procedures.
  • Mentor junior-level analysts by reviewing work products, demonstrating best practices, and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Cultivate and maintain cross-functional partnerships with Program Management, Contracts, Procurement, Operations, and Engineering.
  • Create work breakdown structures (WBS), charge numbers, and assign Task Order Assignments within Oracle ERP.
  • Develop time-phased program baselines to track cost and schedule for a portfolio of programs.
  • Utilize an Earned Value Management System (EVM) to track, measure, and analyze program costs, status, and performance.
  • Track material expenditures from a consolidated bill of material (CBOM) and monitor production touch labor.
  • Utilize data collection and reporting systems to provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to support internal and external customers.
  • Provide variance analysis and assess program risks and opportunities.
  • Forecast, budget, and analyze key program metrics (Orders, Sales, Gross Margin, Shipments, Cash) analysis and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Plan and support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP).
  • Work collaboratively with program teams and senior leadership to generate and present financial metrics on program performance.
  • Develop and analyze program estimates at complete (EACs) for Gross Margin adjustments.
  • Help develop standardized Program Finance policies and procedures.
  • Support proposal development, fact-finding, audits, and negotiations.
  • Support special projects and Kaizen events focused on continuous improvement of Finance processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, or Master's Degree and minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.).
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a US Person under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 8 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, or Master's Degree and minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Previous Defense Industry experience.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with Program Managers and across other functional areas.
  • Independent self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, IFS, or other ERP systems.
