Mobile Youth Crisis Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Clinician to join our team at Delaware Guidance Services for Children. As a Crisis Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing rapid response screening and assessment, counseling intervention services, and therapeutic crisis intervention to youth and families experiencing urgent psychological and emotional problems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct risk assessments and provide short-term, therapeutic crisis intervention services for up to 30 days.
- Develop comprehensive skills in planning for safety and providing evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic crisis intervention services to children, adolescents, and their families.
- Provide therapeutic recommendations and referrals for children, adolescents, and their families referred for assessments and follow-up services.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, including families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in a Human Services field.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Master's degree from an accredited school in a Human Services field (preferred).
- Education/training in suicide risk prevention and intervention (preferred).
This is a community-based position, with office locations in Lewes, Dover, or Newark, DE. Travel is required to locations where clients reside or are located.
