Our clinicians have delivered extensive direct care hours, with a significant percentage of clients reporting improvements in their functioning after treatment.

Position Summary

Under the guidance of the Call Center Supervisor, the Crisis Call Center Dispatcher is responsible for managing incoming calls from youth and families experiencing psychological and emotional crises. This role involves ensuring safety, gathering essential triage information, and dispatching clinicians as needed. The Dispatcher will also support daily case management activities across various counties.

Key Responsibilities:

Crisis Dispatching

  • Maintain professional interactions during crisis communications with all parties involved.
  • Foster teamwork through effective communication.
  • Engage callers with empathy and professionalism.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills for triaging calls and dispatching appropriate clinicians.

Case Management Support

  • Assist the MRSS team in managing cases referred for assessments and follow-up services.
  • Communicate effectively with the PBH team and provide necessary documentation.
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys and implement quality assurance measures for the MRSS program.
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality documentation is maintained.

Data Management

  • Input relevant documentation into the DSCYF system.
  • Develop and sustain programmatic needs and outcome evaluations.

General Duties:

Work Environment: Office-based, Call Center

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in the mental health sector.
  • Experience in call center or emergency services.
