About the Role

Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. (DGS) is seeking a skilled Mobile Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Mobile Therapist, you will provide clinical behavioral health services in the community to DGS clients, working closely with families and caregivers to support their mental and behavioral health needs.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in Delaware. As a Mobile Therapist, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule, with a minimum of 10 hours dedicated to DGS per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychoeducation to children, adolescents, and their families
  • Assess clients' needs and risks, utilizing crisis intervention skills and services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account developmental factors, family, and community systems
  • Teach, practice, and support ongoing skill building in the home, school, and/or community to increase resilience in children, adolescents, and families

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Preferred (in a license-eligible degree)
  • ABA
  • Bilingual
