Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Water Meter Technician to join our team at Utilities Service Co Inc. As a Water Meter Technician, you will be responsible for the timely installation and maintenance of water meters, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain water meters in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water meters to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify and report any issues or hazards related to water meter installation or maintenance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as plumbing or HVAC.
  • Strong knowledge of water meter installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Working Conditions

This is an outdoor position that requires frequent travel to customer sites. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
