Lead C++ Software Engineer in AI/ML:
Expertise in C++/Linux and Machine Learning.

As a Lead Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, your primary focus will be on architecting and implementing robust solutions utilizing AI technologies and machine learning algorithms.

You will tackle various challenges related to neural networks within the transportation industry.

This role requires the use of extensive data processing and storage technologies to develop prototypes and datasets, conduct model training and assessments, integrate solutions, perform laboratory and field tests, and optimize performance.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++ is essential, along with experience in software development for Linux environments.

Your Responsibilities:

- Design and develop real-time AI and Neural Network solutions for maintenance equipment in the transportation sector.
- Implement suitable machine learning algorithms.
- Produce clean, well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
- Develop and execute communication protocols.
- Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment while also working independently.
- Generate comprehensive requirements and design documentation.
- Plan, design, and deliver testing, ensuring products meet quality assurance standards.

Utilize your communication and analytical skills to address software challenges associated with the design, development, deployment, testing, and operation of systems.

Qualifications:
Education:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field.

Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in developing CNN and R-CNN neural networks for computer vision applications.
- More than 5 years of experience in software development using C++ and Linux embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Supervised and Semi-Supervised Learning, Deep Learning, Support Vector Machines, and Regression techniques.
- Proficient in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, PyTorch, Keras, Darknet, and OpenCV.
- Experience with AI edge devices like NVIDIA Jetson/Nano/Orin.
- Solid understanding of the Linux Operating System.

Preferred Experience:

- Proficient in statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) for data manipulation and insights extraction from large datasets.

- Experience in designing and implementing data architectures.

- Knowledge of various machine learning methodologies (semantic segmentation, clustering, decision trees, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their practical implications.

- Understanding of advanced statistical methods and concepts (regression, distribution properties, statistical testing, etc.) with practical applications.

- Experience with edge computing and device control (on-device deployment in C/C++ or similar) for real-time applications.
- Familiarity with optimizing neural networks for efficient performance on low-power mobile platforms (e.g., pruning, distillation, quantization).
