Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Kleinschmidt Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects involving hydroelectric generation, water resources, and fisheries-related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, drafters, and project coordinators, to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil, structural, geotechnical, or mechanical engineering, with a focus on hydroelectric, fish passage, dam safety, or water resource projects.
  • Proven track record of managing engineering projects and coordinating with clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, oral and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of standards and codes applicable to the candidate's engineering discipline.
  • Experience with analysis and design within your discipline and coordination with multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including working from the office and remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a consultant or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Vantagepoint.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and permitting processes.
