A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYST

Schedule: This is a full-time, office-based project management role. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional site visits and travel for networking opportunities.

As a Lead Construction Cost Analyst, your day starts with analyzing project plans and specifications, laying the groundwork for a well-structured and efficient workflow. You will conduct site visits to collect vital information, preparing detailed cost estimates for both commercial and multi-family apartment projects. Your responsibilities include collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and our internal team to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.

Using industry-standard estimation software, you will create accurate proposals, liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, and maintain strong relationships to facilitate smooth project execution. With a focus on delivering outstanding results, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and supporting successful project outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

  • 3+ years of experience as a plumbing estimator in the construction sector
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
  • Proficiency in estimation software, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
