Job Title: Client Service Specialist

Location: Hybrid, Arlington Heights, IL

Job Summary:

The Client Service Specialist plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to Account Team Leaders in connection with the insurance renewal process. This includes maintaining client folders, producing client-facing materials, and preparing invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Renewal Planning Meetings
  • Request loss run reports from carriers and underwriters
  • Draft Renewal Planners, which involves creating, updating, and synthesizing multiple documents and data
  • Prepare client deliverables for all product lines, including E&O, Cyber, and Management Liability
  • Update and maintain client information in Salesforce
  • Respond to client requests for certificates of insurance (COIs)
  • Assist with the management and oversight of claims/litigation matters and related information/data
  • Provide support with vendor payables and invoicing
  • Generate reports for account teams and leadership
  • Other administrative and project management duties
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of navigating the Internet and various Microsoft Office programs, including Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
  • Strong ability to multi-task and assign priority
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both with and without direct supervision
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment as well as independently
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • 0 - 2 years' experience working in a corporate company, insurance industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with agency management software (preferably Sagitta and Salesforce) preferred
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of professional liability insurance preferred
