Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the dress code consistently.
- Efficiently manage a personal cash drawer, including opening, closing, and balancing, while following all monetary handling protocols.
- Gain proficiency in the Point of Sale system to facilitate smooth and effective transactions within three months of starting.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace at the cash register and throughout the store, including cleaning, organizing, and restocking as required.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers and offering assistance as needed.
- Comply with all organizational policies regarding merchandise sales.
- Keep sales floor stocked and display new items, striving to meet daily production targets.
- Availability for a flexible work schedule is essential.

Compensation:
Hourly rate is $13.00.

Minimum Qualifications:
The following criteria represent the basic education, experience, certifications, skills, and abilities required for this position.
Education: High School Diploma or in progress.
Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with customers, management, and colleagues.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with the Point of Sale system and other relevant software.
- Ability to provide accurate change to customers.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the duties of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions.
While fulfilling the responsibilities of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands for handling or feeling, and communicate verbally. Frequent walking and reaching with hands and arms are necessary. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
This position is situated in a retail environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The setting may be dusty and subject to temperature variations due to weather conditions. Employees may be exposed to outdoor elements. This role may be full-time or part-time and will require weekend and evening shifts.
