Key Responsibilities

A Customer Relationship Specialist plays a vital role in managing a diverse range of client-facing and internal deposit functions. This professional is tasked with executing customer transactions while ensuring an exceptional service experience at every touchpoint. Collaboration with fellow specialists is essential to complete all deposit-related operations and transactions, encompassing daily responsibilities and special initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurate handling of cash, deposits, and loan payments
  • Cashing checks and processing account withdrawals
  • Recording night and mail deposits
  • Issuing cashier's checks and money orders
  • Balancing all transactions and cash on a daily basis
  • Providing assistance with online, mobile, and electronic services
  • Managing ATM/debit card inquiries and addressing fraudulent activities

This role also involves opening, closing, and overseeing a variety of accounts for both individual and business clients, including Checking, Savings, and Certificates of Deposit. The specialist will respond to customer inquiries in person or via phone and will actively promote products and services that align with customer needs. All staff members are expected to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred
  • At least 6 months of experience in a Teller, Personal Banker, or similar role in a financial institution
  • Familiarity with Jack Henry core programs (Silverlake, Banno) is a plus

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time, at-will position based on a 40-hour workweek
  • Typical schedule: 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday; 8 AM - 11 AM on Saturdays
  • Minimal travel may be required for training purposes
  • Employment is contingent upon successful background and credit checks
