Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research, analysis, and administrative tasks essential for the operational needs of the legal office.
  • Perform initial assessments of legal documentation to ensure completeness prior to final evaluations by legal professionals.
  • Assist in the legal review and drafting of orders for the deployment of military forces and the execution of defense operations.
  • Provide foundational analysis and support for intelligence-related initiatives.
  • Facilitate coordination of documentation with various legal and governmental entities.
  • Utilize specialized tracking systems for managing legal documentation and deadlines.
  • Distribute critical communications to relevant legal staff for prompt action.
  • Prepare briefing materials for high-level meetings and presentations.
  • Participate in discussions and conferences on intelligence matters, liaising with other governmental bodies.
  • Collaborate with senior officials across the defense sector.
  • Conduct research and analysis using various legal databases and resources.
  • Manage the opening and closing of legal documentation within the tracking system.
  • Support legal processes by coordinating and filing necessary documents.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree accompanied by three years of relevant experience in support of defense or governmental operations.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Conducting preliminary reviews of legal documents for adequacy.
    • Providing foundational analysis and support for intelligence operations.
  • Possess a creative and analytical mindset, capable of working independently while effectively communicating complex ideas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and online research methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent research and analytical capabilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high standards of client service and professionalism.
  • Ability to adapt to urgent and mission-critical tasks.

Security Clearance:

  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
