Intelligence Planning Specialist

Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Intelligence Planning Specialist to support the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, with experience in joint and combined multi-domain operations planning, campaign and contingency planning, and developing and maintaining base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System
- Provide input throughout all planning functions from translating strategic guidance, through concept and plan development, to plan assessments and associated functions
- Develop and maintain base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs
- Collaborate with senior defense officials to advise on intelligence planning matters
- Support the integration of Defense and National Intelligence support capabilities
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with intelligence planning
- Experience with joint and combined multi-domain operations planning, campaign and contingency planning, and developing and maintaining base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs
- Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and its inputs and outputs, including JIPOE, Center of Gravity Analysis, Enemy Courses of Action, and Annex Bs
- Ability to support and advise senior defense officials
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with supporting intelligence planning, including at the CCMD-level or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with supporting intelligence planning, including at the CCMD-level
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with developing intelligence annexes, appendices, and other strategic documents such as the Joint Strategic Intelligence Estimate (JSIE) or Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP)
- Experience in the Intelligence Community
- Ability to brief senior defense and government officials
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of DoD Intelligence Planning Courses
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
