Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Experience
    • Provide empathetic and personalized care to patients, addressing their medication needs and concerns.
    • Lead efforts to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty through excellent customer service and communication.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Operations
    • Oversee the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Manage pharmacy inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy workflow, productivity, and patient flow.
  • People & Performance Management
    • Lead and develop a high-performing pharmacy team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure exceptional performance.
    • Collaborate with store management to establish goals, objectives, and performance metrics for the pharmacy team.
    • Identify and develop high-potential team members, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and pharmacy operations.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
