Job Title: Associate Registrar

Columbia-Greene Community College is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Registrar to join our team. As a key member of our Office of Records and Registration, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deputize for the Registrar as needed and provide support to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Records and Registration, including supervising staff and maintaining records.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the DegreeWorks platform, ensuring its functionality and ongoing development.
  • Act as a liaison between the Office of Records and Registration and other college departments, including Academic Affairs, Admissions, and Financial Aid.
  • Coordinate with IT and Academic Advisement to maintain the accuracy and functionality of degree audits.
  • Develop and maintain credit for prior learning catalogs and course equivalency catalogs between CGCC and other colleges and universities.
  • Support the planning and execution of annual Commencement programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or three to five years of experience in a Records and Registration environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to process data accurately.
  • Ability to learn and process information quickly and reliably.
  • Proficient understanding of all Federal and State regulations related to records management.
  • Proficiency working with relevant technologies, software, and systems.
